The Avon Roborioles Team was founded by Teacher Mentors Chris Hill and Gary Ayers in 2012. Their goal was to give high school students a hands-on experience in the field of engineering. The team has continued to grow in numbers every year since it first began. We currently have over 18 adult mentors and over 60+ student members, allowing for a effective and great student to mentor ratio.
In 2016, the Roborioles won the Indiana State Championship at Kokomo Memorial High School, and went to FIRST World Competitions in St. Louis.
